Description

Commissioned by the Oregon Music Educators Association, this work provides an excellent opportunity for students to become more aware of other cultures; in this case, the former Yugoslavia. It is based on traditional melodic material that is presented incorporating historic melodic ideas in combination with dynamic percussion and contemporary compositional techniques.
