Description

The ADAM Audio Sub15 is an incredibly powerful subwoofer with the ability to extend the frequency range of main and midfield monitors down to 20Hz. Two powerful magnets and 100mm voice coil drive a rugged 15″ woofer, which features an incredibly rigid aluminum membrane. With an efficiency factor of almost 90%, the PWM amplifier boasts a 1000W power capability. With performance like that, the Sub15 is easily able to handle critical musical passages with sudden intense peaks in the low end without distorting or overheating.

Several integrated controls are included so users can adjust the sound of the Sub15 to suit any room or individual taste, including a volume control (-60dB to +6dB), and an adjustable crossover frequency (50Hz – 150Hz). Satellite speakers can be driven at full range or filtered to operate above 85Hz, allowing Sub15 to be integrated into a Dolby surround setup with ease. Finally, the included phase reverse switch allows you to optimize the phase relationship between the satellite speakers and the sub.

Combining outstanding transient response with an impressive low frequency performance, the Sub15 is able to reproduce the low end of music with incredible detail and accuracy – and with a massive max. SPL of 120dB, this sub is perfect for mid-sized and larger control rooms.

Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA I/O connectors on the rear panel make the Sub15 incredibly flexible in regards to connectivity.
