Description

Commissioned by the Tennessee All-State Jazz Band, this exciting and well-crafted composition features a light and breezy samba style and some marvelous ensemble writing. A duet for alto and trumpet is featured on the head, aswell as later in the chart for solos. Along the way are creatively designed background figures and a shout section that features the drums followed by a solid tutti ensemble statement.
