Introducing the Rode NT55 condenser microphone – matched pair

This pair of low-noise, small-diaphragm condenser microphones is designed to give you a reliable and versatile recording experience. Their exceptionally accurate cardioid polar pattern, wide dynamic range, and full frequency response make them ideal for stereo recording, and they can perfectly capture everything from acoustic instruments and drum overheads to live performances.

The NT55 features a 1/2-inch gold-sputtered cardioid condenser capsule, which delivers a smooth, balanced sound. It also has a three-position pad (0, -10dB, -20dB) and a three-stage high-pass filter (flat, 75Hz, 150Hz). Plus, each NT55 comes with the NT45-O interchangeable omnidirectional capsule, providing you with a variety of polar patterns and plenty of flexibility.

These high-quality microphones are also supplied with durable RM5 mic clips, which are built to safely and securely mount your microphones onto a stand without interfering with their polarity or frequency response.
