Description

The Rondos of, Op. 1, 5 and 16 were written during composition studies with Elsner, and combine virtuosic texture with folk themes typical of the era. Melodies, with the exception of folk themes, are richly ornamented. The Rondos often feature scales and arpeggio passages, showing virtuoso bravura.
